ILDEX Vietnam 2018 will provide the opportunity for local and international enterprises to showcase and introduce new products, update market trending, and learn new technologies and knowledge.

On September 12, 2017, Federation of Asian Veterinary Associations (FAVA), Asian International Livestock Exhibition (VIV), Minh Vi Exhibition and Advertisement Services Co., Ltd. (VEAS, Vietnam), and VNU Exhibitions Asia Pacific Co., Ltd. (Thailand-Netherlands) stared to launch the 7th International Livestock, Dairy, Meat Processing and Aquaculture Exposition - ILDEX Vietnam 2018, will be held from March 14 to March 16, 2018 in Ho Chi Minh City.

Time: March 14 – March 16, 2018.

Location: Saigon Exhibition & Convention Center (SECC) - 799 Nguyen Van Linh, Tan Phu Ward, District 7, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

Livestock and aquaculture is one of the leading sectors in Vietnam.  In the first 6 months of 2017, gross domestic product (GDP) is estimated to increase 5.73% compared to the same period last year, in which, the livestock and aquaculture sector increased 2.65%, contributing 0.43 % of percentage – point to the overall growth of the economy, according to the General Statistics Office of Vietnam. Hi-technologies have been applied in the development of breeding stocks, and production and processing of animal products for the livestock sector. This not only brings high quality products, but also reduces environmental pollution and cost savings. However, the application of hi- technology in Vietnam still has many limitations and not effective.

In order to provide local enterprises with opportunities for learning and strengthening the relationships with countries developed livestock sector, ILDEX VIETNAM 2018 - The 7th International Livestock, Dairy, Meat Processing and Aquaculture Exposition in Vietnam – will be held after 2 years. This is the opportunity for local and international enterprises to showcase and introduce new products, update market trending, and learn new technologies and knowledge through seminars with the participation of leading local and international experts.

ILDEX VIETNAM 2018 will be co – organized by VNU Exhibitions Asia Pacific Co., Ltd. (Thailand – Holland) and Minh Vi Exhibition and Advertisement Services Co., Ltd. (VEAS, Vietnam), with full endorsement of Department of Livestock - Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam, Federation of Asian Veterinary Associations (FAVA), VIV Asia and related organization and associations.

ILDEX Vietnam 2018 started by press conferences of launching the exhibition on September 12, 2017 at Majestic Saigon Hotel and on September 13, 2017 at the Fortuna Hanoi Hotel. These press conferences will feature reporters, journalists, as well as the representative of VNU Exhibitions Asia Pacific Co., Ltd., and the representative of Livestock competence center of VNU Exhibitions Asia Pacific Co.,Ltd. In the press conference, the representative of Department of Livestock - Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam will speak the situation and direction for development of the Vietnamese livestock sector.
